Why should I choose Purple Brush Art for my child, or myself?

At Purple Brush Art, we focus on nurturing creativity through structured yet engaging ​lesson plans tailored to different age groups. Can I try a class before committing?

Yes! If the class you’re interested in doesn’t offer a free trial, you can still register worry-​free. Just let us know if you decide not to continue after the first session, and we’ll fully ​reimburse you.

Can I find a time for both of my kids to attend classes together?

Absolutely! We offer a few class slots where different age groups can attend at the same ​time, making drop-offs and pick-ups easier for you. We’re happy to help you find the ​perfect classes that fit both of your kids' schedules. Just email us, and we'll assist you in ​finding the right match! What is the capacity of your classes?

At Purple Brush Art, we believe that every child must receive individualized attention and ​lessons from our experienced art teacher. Therefore, we make sure we keep our class ​capacity as low as possible. Our average classes have 4-5 students. Some classes in more ​popular times/days may go up to 8 students. But we put a cap to ensure the lowest ​class/teacher ratio in the market.

Do you have private classes?

Absolutely! We offer private classes tailored to your schedule. Just let us know your ​preferred days and times, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Private Class Tuition:

  • 1 participant: 300% of regular tuition
  • 2 participants: 100% extra tuition per person
  • 3-4 participants: 50% extra tuition per person
  • 5-7 participants: 25% extra tuition per person
  • 8+ participants: No extra tuition

What types of discipline do you use? (Do you do time-outs?)

At Purple Brush Art, we find that children are usually very engaged during our classes, so ​discipline is rarely needed. If a child becomes distracted, we gently remind them that it’s a ​painting class and encourage them to refocus on their artwork. Our instructors, with years of ​experience in teaching art to children, is highly skilled at keeping kids engaged and excited ​about their projects. We do not use time-outs.

What is the structure of the day’s activities?

Our sessions are designed to be both engaging and relaxing. We start with warm-up activities to get ​the creative juices flowing, followed by hands-on art projects where kids can dive into their creativity. ​We wrap up with a calming cool-down. Throughout the class, kids remain seated, focusing on their art, ​rather than moving around as they might in a childcare setting.

What should we bring to the class?

You don’t need to bring anything! We provide all the necessary art supplies for the class. Just bring ​your creativity and excitement!

Can I register after the semester starts?

Yes! We offer prorated registration, which means you only pay for the remaining classes in the ​semester. For example, if you join halfway through, you’ll only be charged for the classes from that ​point forward, rather than the full semester fee.

What if I need to cancel after paying?

No worries! We offer free cancellations before the first class. If you change your mind, just let us know, ​and we’ll refund you in full.

What if I miss a class or need to change my schedule?

No worries! If you miss a class or need to change your schedule, you can attend a similar class later in ​the same week to make it up.

What if I want to keep going after the semester ends?

Absolutely, and we definitely recommend it! Our curriculum is designed for ongoing learning. Just ​register for the new semester to continue. Stay tuned to our website for the upcoming schedule and ​registration details.

What are the dates for after-school semesters?

Each of our weekly after-school semester includes 9-10 sessions. Here’s the schedule for 2024-2025:

  • Fall Semester: Aug 25 - Oct 26
  • Early Winter Semester: Oct 27 - Jan 18
  • Late Winter Semester: Jan 19 - Mar 22
  • Spring Semester: Mar 23 - May 24

Do you offer any discounts

Yes! We offer discounts for registering siblings or enrolling in multiple classes. These discounts are ​automatically applied at checkout. Additionally, keep an eye on our website for occasional special ​offers and promotions!

Do you offer drop-in classes?

Yes, we offer drop-ins for adult classes, parent-and-kid sessions, and workshops. However, we do not ​offer drop-ins for kids' weekly classes because these are based on a structured lesson plan that ​progresses each week.
